Does the Maverik MX EKG Lacrosse Shoulder Pad meet the new NOCSAE standards?
Question by: Mar Lyn on Aug 3, 2022, 2:05 AM
Great question! Yes, Maverik's MX EKG Lacrosse Shoulder Pads meet the new NOCSAE rules. The EKG in the name is for Maverik's External Kardiac Guard. Which protects against Commotio Cordis. If you are ever curious about pads meeting NOCSAE rules. There will be either stickers or like most chest protectors. There will be a tag labeling that that they are NOCSAE approved. NOCSAE red tag is labeled "EKG" and is located at the lower left oft the pad. Hope this helps!
