Details

New for the 2017 STX releases the third head in the line of the Stallion, The Stallion 700. This is not the same Stallion; STX went back to the drawing board and redesigned everything. The Stallion 700 is one of the most anticipated releases of the 2017 season.

The difference between the new Stallion 700 and the older Stallion is the Speed Scoop and the new material the head is made of.

STX used the patented Speed Scoop from the Hammer 500 to enhance ground ball play. You will now be able to scoop up ground balls effortlessly due to the minimized drag on turf and grass. To add to the ease of picking up ground balls is the Stallions two-sidewall brace design that provides increased stability when shooting, checking, and going into the crowd on groundballs.

The new Stallion 700 like stated before was redesigned from the ground up using new materials that allow the head to be 25% stiffer and 5% lighter than its predecessors. They continued with the C-Channel on the sidewall of the head distributing stress and providing extra strength between the lines.

If you are a player who loves to two handed dodges, durability without sacrificing weight the Stallion 700 is the head for you.

The Best Head

My first season of lacrosse. Played midfielder and this is the best head in the game. You can’t get any better for the price . The head is unbelievably light , ground balls are the easiest to grab quick scoop. I really can’t see stallion getting any better than this. The head has last all season long never broke. There was never a problem with my stick, only occasionally fixing my mesh. But you definitely can’t get any better

amazing head

This head is built mostly for a 2 way middie and also a d-middie. The scoop is very smooth on ground balls if you have trouble getting the ground balls because you are tall then this will cut out that problem because the scoop just glides on the turf or grass. This head is not for face offs but if you do take face offs sometimes like me (I take like 4 a game), it won't warp right a way. At the end of this season of club and select ball, my stallion 700 has held up very well but very slightly warped. This head is not for face off but if you take a very few amount, it will hold up very well. The side wall holes are very well spaced for stringing. Overall, this head is a light, stiff and a very aggressive looking head, and built for the offensive player.

Great Head!!!

Amazing head. it is really stiff and lightweight. I definitely recommend it for attack and an elite 2 way middie. Overall the perfect head for attack or middie.

Dope.

In the 2 months I have used the Stallion 700 I have been blown away. It strings up like a dream, the scoop is unreal for ground balls, and its durable enough for heavy checks. I have always been a fan of STX mid pinch heads but this is by far the best model so far. 10/10 #Snipecorners

My new go-to!

I've been a Stallion U fan since the original 500 came out, and have seen the progression from one year's model to the next. It is without a doubt that STX put the most effort, as well as R&D into this head. Aesthetically pleasing, and performing up to its preconceived hype, I've done very well with this head thus far, and hope to continue to do so. Get yours today @ Lacrosse Monkey!
