Think twice before buying this head

I bought this head with very high hopes. I had just snapped my warrior regulator X after a year of very competitive play on both the high school and club/recruiting circuit. Hoped this head was going to be just like the regulator but better, as the name entails. I was wrong. This head is stiff, yes, stiffer than the older regulator. Unfortunately the face shape is much wider, and you can feel that whenever you cradled the ball no matter what pocket you put in it. It was impossible to get anything better than an okay mid pocket in this thing with an okay channel. The new slanted holes on here are something I will steer away from for a very long time, I was not a fan. They were meant to pull the pocket higher, and all they seemed to really do was make sure the string would fray faster, and if you messed your pattern up once to punish you for doing so, as you couldn't take the string out without much difficulty. Mine snapped at the throat after about four months of play. It is also extremely heavy, especially if you use a heavier shaft. It may be the stiffest head you will ever see, but I feel it is brittle in some places, like the throat. I do really like the shaft lock and the top string holes, as well as the stiffness, but other than that there isn't many positive things I can see coming from this head.

Beast

This Head is amazing. It is by far, the stiffest Defensive head on the market. The Graphics are extremely pleasing too, which is not common for D- heads. Most people say that the head is very heavy, and that was one of the things i was worried about. But after receiving this, i do not even notice the weight. Overall, extremely good head.
