New for 2019, Warrior’s newest Warp hits the market with the Warrior Evo Fatboy Warp Pro Box Lacrosse Head, built for the elite box player looking for the Warp’s signature consistency and performance.
With their 25 years of industry expertise in pocket designs, Warrior Sports continues their game changing line with countless hours of research and input from the best lacrosse athletes in the world. For the 2018 season, Warrior has brought out the Warrior Warp Pro Strung Lacrosse Head. Each Warp Pro pocket is tailored specifically for its respective head and designed with multiple diamond configurations, pocket locations, premium material blend pocket to perform in all weather conditions, and whip options to provide the perfect pocket feel and release.
Designed and engineered by some of the best players in the world, the Evo Fatboy Warp is created for quick release and maximum ball control that is crucial for the indoor game. With a box-specific head shape that is tighter along the throat and offers a more distinct channel, the Evo Fatboy delivers consistent passes and inside shots with elite control.
Currently, the Evo Fatboy Warp comes with a mid-pocket and a low-whip offering to help with quick release and ball movement in an active pocket that moves with the ball, allowing for more control and better feel. As the Warp line expands, look for more pocket options and whip levels to be added to current models.
Reinforced material in the Evo Fatboy Warp ensures that the head is strong enough for the indoor game, as thicker sidewalls and a more aggressive design provides the same elite performance of an Evo Warp, but the durability needed for the highest levels of box lacrosse.
Designed for the elite box player, the new Warrior Evo Fatboy Warp Pro Box Lacrosse Head improves consistency and control which is ideal for the indoor game, no strings attached.
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Great Fit
Cons: Expensive, Poor Craftsmanship, Uncomfortable
Don't waste your well earned money on this. at least until warrior comes out with different "whip" levels for it. listen im from Canada. I only play Box lacrosse. and to me this thing shoots waaay to high. and it comes out way to quick. it doesnt create enough torch on your shot. my shot felt waaay slower than it should. i took it to my local box and gave it about 30 shots from 20 feet out. and i think i could only hit the net 2 or 3 times. tried repostioning my hands. trying to change the release point. over hand, side arm, under hand, no luck. kept missing the net. only started hitting the net when I took probably 50% off my shot. no way I could use this in a game. would not be able to shoot over or around guys with it. So save your money ladies and gents. Don' buy it. Also i feel like i should mention. i did buy the first evo warp pro with a whip 3. and i loved how it threw. but it was too wide for box lacrosse. i couldn't get used to using such a stick that had the ball pop out way too easily. so i was reallly hoping this fat boy was going to do it. but i didn't think the difference between whipe 3 and 2 was going to be this drastic.
