The Clutch IV lacrosse head is designed for the elite attackman that wants precision accuracy. With Brines VARI-FLEX technology, the Clutch IV has stiff materials inserted into strategic sections of the head in order to control flex and adapt to multiple playing styles.
VARI-FLEX will provide more strength and consistency in the throat of the head; it will have more control over the ball in the channel, and be more responsive with extra pop in its release. Lastly, Brine was able to carve out the inner sidewall to reduce weight without hindering durability even in hot and cold weather conditions.

Disappointed with Brine and this head. Like previous clutch models, however this model puts aesthetics ahead of performance. The inserts in the throat with the stringing holds weaken the head, especially in colder temperatures. Sticking with the evo4
Throughout this season I have gone through 2 of these heads. the one lasted about half the season before the side of it snapped and my most recent one has lasted only 4 games before cracking. I would not recommended getting this. Also Brines warranty and costumer service is very poor/slow, whole situation has been a mess.
