The Proton Power has dominated when it comes to popularity in the lacrosse community. Its flawless shape and design makes it an absolute scoring machine. This head was made to not only score goals but also light up the radar gun. Weighing in at a respectable 4.8oz the Proton Power allows you to shoot at high speeds with pinpoint accuracy.

With a tight face and shape you get the best possible ball control for dodging and a consistent channel release. It has been one of the most popular STX heads for midfielders who make a living on dodging, and is quite often used by faceoff specialists as well.

The STX Proton Power is a versatile head that enhances its C-Channel technology for more strength and stability without adding weight. This allows the shooter to have extra torque or flex in his shot while also maintain great handle over the ball.

Overall this head is a thing of beauty and it is still one of the most dominant NFHS lacrosse heads ever made.

I am a short stick middle who takes face offs and takes some shots and brutal hitting. This head can handle it all. It has all the great qualities you could ask for and more.

It is so nice! My friend got mad because I cracked his Nike Lacota with this head.

A Smash Hit by STX

I Face off for my team and by the time it came to game-day I was winning it forward to my self but a couple of times it dint pop out the the head, so I figured something out w/ my pocket and it no longer did that. So I would say it's just a little pinched but not as bad as my other head. This is as great head u Should get it!!!!

Okay Head

I've been midfielder for 2 years... this head has been used by many different players and almost all of them broke... this head is not durable... if you are looking to play lsm or defense... this head will break on the job, but if you are a face-off midie then this is very flexible.

Proton Power

I've put this head through just about everything from a big game to a cold rainy march practice. I have had no problems with this head and it improved my passing and shooting much more than where it was before. It is very stiff and will not brake easily. I have had no problems with it.

Review by Zig (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Absolutley perfect except for hourglass

I absolutley adore this head. Easy to string, can be adjusted at a moments notice, great control. The only thing that bothered me was after seven games or so I needed to start putting a puck in the head to prevent it from hourglassing.

A Great Buy

I would recommend this head. You will not regret it.

Review by Husk (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Buy this over the Stallion

I dont know if i would buy this for a faceoff head, but it is a sharp looking and performing head. They made a ton of improvements from the original. I hav never been a fan of proton powers until now. Theres still not as much stringing holes as the clutch but there is enough to string any type of pocket

Power of the Proton

I bought this head then marble dyed it green and yellow. Great all around head.

It Can Take a Beating

This head is worth the money. I've been taking face offs with this head, and it holds up well. After a while of faceoffs - it pinches a little but that's not a big deal because they recreated this version a little wider than the original proton power... I've been using for a year and not one thing has gone wrong. I would recommend it, if you are a face off person who loves to do the plunger because it is a little stiff due to the new C-Channel Technology... Overall an excellent head!!

proton 2

The proton power is a great head but it may be a tad bit overrated. It is a big head but has good pinch. The ball stop began to come off after two or three weeks of brutal use but much better than the foam brine ones. The head scratches easy but otherwise its a great head!

Review by Zach (Posted on 10/25/2016)

Overall best head in the game. Can't go wrong with it!

Review by Noah (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Good Head

I've used this head for about 6 months non stop. It's a very good head but it wears quickly. I'm a middie and it's great for face offs but warps easily. It's a great head but it doesn't last very long.

Review by Anthony (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great Head

I am a center middie that takes face offs. I have had this head for over a year and it is still great, no warping and I take most face offs for our team. It is great for shooting and breaks in quickly without breaking down.

Great Durable Head Suggest To All

All around great head

Review by Josh (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Not Bad

Overall, it's a decent head. My biggest complaint is that it is not a good head for stringing traditionals. There are only 2 bottom holes, so if you want to string a traditional head, you either have to get pretty creative with a 4 leather set up, or come up with a 2 leather design. Additionally, the bottom-most sidewall hole is a little hard to get strings through, as the plastic part where to stopper sits kind of blocks the hole. Other than that, the head is great for mesh and has just the right amount of pinch.

Review by Jason (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Very versatile head

Really nice head works best for attack in my opinion because if your a faceoff/middie the head warps very easily but other than that very well built head good for intermediate players who want to expand their game a little more out their comfort zone.

Great Had!!!!

I am in high school, play middie and use this head as my gamer. I personally love this head better than any other head I've used. The flexibility is perfect and it doesn't wear out quickly. I would like more stringing holes on the sidewall, but there's a decent about and I was able to make a good mid/high pocket.

Review by Nick (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great for practice and games

Originally bought it as a back up, but such a great feel, have found it to be one of my favorite go to sticks. Have not found any bad characteristics yet

Review by Hammer it home (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Good buy

The Proton Power 2 is a great head that is easy to string how ever you like and is very light. My only con is it warps fairly easy.
