Details

The Optik lacrosse head is designed for the precision player who is known for their accuracy and playmaking abilities. Due to its unique face shape and pointed “Dual Design Scoop” the Optik will have unrivaled accuracy. With its Level 2 bottom rail the Optik will support a mid-to-low pocket that provides a quick and smooth release with added power.

The Optik also only weighs 4.5 ounces due to Maveriks 2-Strut design that shaves off excess plastic on the inner sidewalls to reduce weight without sacrificing strength. The manufacturers also kept a narrow throat design which offers maximum ball retention and pinch.

In relation to its physical appearance, this head has an attractive sidewall design and a complete matte finish. Lastly, this head is made right here in the UNITED STATES with premium materials for superior quality.

Good Head

Overall quality of the head is nice. A little on the heavy side, but the build is nice. Only complaint I have is that the Ball Stop's adhesive was messed up so it wouldn't stick to the head.

GOOD HEAD

My oldest son got this head and played High School and competitive Travel Team Ball . The head did eventually break but it was at the last Tourney of the year. I love the reviews I broke it facing off or I broke it playing LSM. DO NOT BUY A HEAD THAT IS BEING USED FOR SOMETHING OTHER THAN IT IS DESIGNED FOR AND IT WILL GIVE YOU THE PERFORMANCE THE MANUFACTURE SAYS IT WILL. My son uses a Revo for LSM and a Blade for facing off WHY? because that is what those heads are designed for. He used the Optik for Middie.
Word of Advice from a Coach . BUY THE HEAD FOR IT'S INTENDED USE.
Bottom Line it is a great and yes it broke when my son faced off with it but he had to use it because the Blade broke earlier in game.

Great Head for those that are dodgers and shooters

I would buy this product again and again

I have used it since Christmas 2014 and I love it to death but the only problem I had with mine was that after almost 1 season and a few months it has started to warp a little around the flare of the face shape

Great Head Mine Felt Heavy

I said the head was heavy and light weight. I don't know if the head itself was heavy since its 4.5 ounces but I think whoever string it for me and whatever mesh they used made it heavy plus with my shaft. It was a nice head if you get a nice channel, no channel and you won't have good ball control on passes (experience and trust me its embarrassing when your passed fly no where near your intended target in a game). Mine was horribly strung but it still did well. Overall very nice head.
