The Optik lacrosse head is designed for the precision player who is known for their accuracy and playmaking abilities. Due to its unique face shape and pointed “Dual Design Scoop” the Optik will have unrivaled accuracy. With its Level 2 bottom rail the Optik will support a mid-to-low pocket that provides a quick and smooth release with added power.
The Optik also only weighs 4.5 ounces due to Maveriks 2-Strut design that shaves off excess plastic on the inner sidewalls to reduce weight without sacrificing strength. The manufacturers also kept a narrow throat design which offers maximum ball retention and pinch.
In relation to its physical appearance, this head has an attractive sidewall design and a complete matte finish. Lastly, this head is made right here in the UNITED STATES with premium materials for superior quality.

I play LSM and was in practice with this head and it was only three days old I did a very hard slap check and the head brokeReview by thatlaxkid (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I play attack and used it for a month before it broke in an cold outdoor game. Good offensive head thoughReview by Gary (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I wish this head lived up to the hype based upon recent reviews from other sites. Sidewall cracked within two days of use...practicing faceoff technique in the living room. Even though it is under warranty, what a pain! Positivity? Many stringing holes and lightweight. Would not recommend.Review by Fish Feet (Posted on 10/25/2016)
i score so much with this bad boy!!! In the past 9 games, ive score 52 goals.(ive been counting) Love this head.Review by condor (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I use this head as a LSM and love it. It's stiff enough to throw a solid check without the weight. I've had my first one just under a year and my second one a few weeks. Both have maintained their shape without cracks.
You may be debating on weather or not to get this head like I did, but if you get it, you will not regret it. I never do reviews and I probably won't ever again, but this head is great. If you're an attack man or just love mid low pockets, this is a great head. I've used this head for a summer league and a season and no cracks or nothing. Wouldn't suggest for faceoffs due to its sturdiest. Other than that, hat-tricks for days.Review by Phil (Posted on 10/25/2016)
This head is fantastic. I have used it as a long pole, lam, middle and for tradeoffs for almost a year and it didn't have the slightest wear. It is easy to string(use stringing 2s) and it let me get some serious goals(34 in a season). I recommend this head to anyone in any position(except goalie).Review by Anamous (Posted on 10/25/2016)
It is not that special I feel it is just a good D-mid head, it s really really wideReview by Lyle Thompson (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I said the head was heavy and light weight. I don't know if the head itself was heavy since its 4.5 ounces but I think whoever string it for me and whatever mesh they used made it heavy plus with my shaft. It was a nice head if you get a nice channel, no channel and you won't have good ball control on passes (experience and trust me its embarrassing when your passed fly no where near your intended target in a game). Mine was horribly strung but it still did well. Overall very nice head.Review by Zach (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I have used it since Christmas 2014 and I love it to death but the only problem I had with mine was that after almost 1 season and a few months it has started to warp a little around the flare of the face shapeReview by kreardon422 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
It throws well and shoots well but the scoop came off centered when I got it. I thought i was buying a USA ProductReview by xc3 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I used to love the head but midway into the season the head snapsReview by Trent (Posted on 10/25/2016)
