the best head on the market by far

Review by the X factor (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Love this head

I did faceoffs with this and it was awesome it flexes as much as my proton power but doesn't warp. its nice with a mid to high pocket. Get this head.

Review by Irishlax331 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great Head

I luv it.

Review by Bro (Posted on 10/25/2016)

The head is pretty much perfect, however I did notice the flex changes depending on the weather.

Review by Ponyboy (Posted on 10/25/2016)
light and durable perfect product

i got mine from a teamate that was graduating last year and it has been put through the test through every type of weather even used it on the beach. i persaonally love this head it has a gread face and throat with a very nice pinch along with alot of stringing hole for avide stringers like myself. i would recomend this head for your typical FOGO or defensive middie or attack.

Review by Taylor (Posted on 10/25/2016)
real great

this is great. the head is very strong, not going to break very easily.

Review by D-Roid the laxer (Posted on 10/25/2016)
STX Stallion is great

I gave this head to my little brother and he is a FOGO. He likes it for the most part but does say it is a little too stiff. This head is pretty lightweight and you can string it up in numerous ways.

Review by Carbon_KO (Posted on 10/25/2016)
middie weapon of choice

stiff and great middie head

Review by scott (Posted on 10/25/2016)
great head

I thought the stallion was a great head. The shape was great and it kept its shape a season summer lax.I also like the larger stringing holes up on the top of the head. it made stringing it a lot easier and allowed for more versatile top wall stringing. But one minor drawback for me was that the stringing holes were oddly placed.

All and all the Stallion is a great head!

Review by TCur (Posted on 10/25/2016)

It's kinda tough to string.

Review by big cat (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I love this head I have two and they are perfect for attack, defence and middie.

Review by Matt the Attack (Posted on 10/25/2016)
really good head

really good head. Its ment more for the midfielder and has the pinch for more of a mid/high pocket.

Review by bo$$ (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great Head for all Weather

This is a great head I love it very stiff and perfect for faceoffs!

Review by Kris (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Nice Head

I have a neon green Stallion with purple mesh and one straight yellow shooter. It is so sick. It has a lot of hold and a ton of whip, which I like so I can get some nice bounce shots. After I score I ride my stick like a horse because it is a stallion head. I love this head

Review by J Buck (Posted on 10/25/2016)
nice head

good for scooping, and easy catching.

Review by robo lax (Posted on 10/25/2016)

Review by Parchillicho (Posted on 10/25/2016)
My favorite head

Overall great head. Kyle Harrison has done perfection.

Review by MSH (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Close to Favorite head

I use this head a lot. Shooting around, passing, and regular season games. So far, there haven't been any real problems. The only thing I might change is the off-set. It's made for a high pocket, i strung a high pocket. But, it isn't too helpful for face-offs.

Review by CC (Posted on 10/25/2016)
This my favorite head

This head is great with a kyle harrison pocket in it

Review by Q (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Stallion: For Everyone

This stick is stiff, and almost impossible to break. But if you lean on it, the plastic will warp and you'll be left with an off-balance head. It is extremely easy to string, and it gives a nice high pocket for a Midfielder who likes to run with the ball, but is ready to pass at a moments notice. It is quite the head, and I recommend it to intermediates and those looking to get better at catching, throwing, and stringing.

Review by Soo Spartans Everywhere (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great Head

I use this head for games, practice and casual use, and the reason why is because this head is amazing! Its great for face-offs, but I use it for a middie head. It passes and shoots flawlessly and it is real easy to cradle. It has a bunch of stringing holes, so you can string whatever pocket you would like. If you string it the right way, you can get great hold out of this head. In my opinion, no negatives about this head. Bottom line, buy the Stallion.

Review by Windy City Laxer (Posted on 10/25/2016)
STX Stallion

This thing is a monster. I have 3 and i love them all. The c-channel works well and it comes right out of ground ball scrums with no warping at all. The bottom rail and hole placement really is designed for a mid high pocket but the holes are plentiful and you can get creative. Its not overly stiff but its the right amount for an offensive midfielder. I absolutely recommend it to attack and offensive or light d middies and lsm's.

Review by JP the Lax Bro (Posted on 10/25/2016)
No complaints.

I'm a defender and I had to buy this at a tournament over the summer because my other head broke. The only problem is that it warped a little bit.

Review by BMHS16 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
great head

I use this head for defense but it is a great face off head. If the head bends a little you can just bend it back and it is as good as new.

Review by jim the runner (Posted on 10/25/2016)

Very stiff
Great for face-off guys
Also great for any position on the field
Doesn't warp

Review by Tommy (Posted on 10/25/2016)
great faceoff head

great faceoff head barely warps, easy to bend back into shape

Review by jlaff flash (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I have four STX Stallions and i absolutely love them all. most of my team uses them and everyone loves them.

Review by Noah the bro (Posted on 10/25/2016)

The best head i have ever used and i play d1 lax at duke

Review by JD (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Perfect head

comlax did a pretty awful job at stringing the head but i play defense so shooting doesnt matter but the head was easily the best one of my four heads. all positions should use this head. (exept goalies)

Review by seymore butts (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Even good for defense

I have four of these heads and i still want more. Its great for midfield and defense. Overall best head ever.

Review by Stallion Lover (Posted on 10/25/2016)
STX stallion

great head with a nice pinch. I think that this would be a good LSM head because it is quite stiff and has a good pinch and scoop. the only bad thing about this head is the scoop is quite stiff which makes it a bit harder to get ground balls.

Review by laaaaaaaaax (Posted on 10/25/2016)
most amazing head on the market

this is a super great head. i'm an all around middie but this is more of a faceoff head. it comes out perfectly and easy to catch with and super stiff. also good for defense.

Review by lax bro (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I will not go into a game without my stallion!!! I use it at middy and its my favorite head so far.

Most amazing head that has every been made.

Review by LAXBROS696969 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Best head

Got this head for highschool, defiantly a great buy, I'm a middie who takes faceoffs and plays offense. Good amount of flex but isn't flimsy on defense. Get it if you are a midfielder

Review by The Ripper (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I used got this head cause I wanted a stiff head that would collapse when I faced off. When I first got it I was super stiff but after a lot of facing off it became a bit more flimsy but it still does good when playing defense. I would recommend this head to anyone. It's great for midfield

Review by Marcos (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I have been playing with this head for about a year now and I love it. Great for face offs and overall play. I just wish it was a little more pinched.

Review by Joe the fogo (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I would not buy this

I'm so mad it broke my first practice

Review by Nevan (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great head

I have used this for about a year and I'm not a mid die. Honestly I think it would be good for attack because it's a great shooting head.

Review by Cj th xman (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I used this for attack great for ground balls not the bes accuracy

Review by Lax bro 34 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great Head, definitely buy it again

definitely buy this head!

Review by Willard (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great head overall

I have two of these heads and can say that they are great for both attack and midfield.

Review by Clam (Posted on 10/25/2016)
A really awesome head

It's a great head for middies its stiff for defense and has the perfect amount of flex for face-offs. It is extremely durable as well. i recommend having this head in your lacrosse arsenal. You can use it as a durable backup or your main head.

Review by Cardinal (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great Buy

You won't regret buying this head

Review by Bootstraps (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Never use for faceoffs

Great head other than it's stiffness. I had to use this head for face offs during one game, and after 4 or 5, the head snapped at the back right side around the bottom. I have had this head for 4 months and was just getting used to it because it was always reliable. Now I'm stuck looking for a new head just a month or two before the season starts. Was a shame and I am dissappointed it couldn't have have withstood just a few faceoffs, considering it was very new. Just warning those who are planning on getting this head to avoid my mistakes. Needs better construction quality

Review by Lacrosse (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Stx stallion = awesome lacrosse head

This is an awesome head I personally use it for attack and it performs amazing. Only one small problem which is the srtinging holes are sort of small but still livable

Review by Laxman5844 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Best Middie Head!

String the head with waxed mesh and 3 shooters across, no U. This allows hold and no whip for a nice shot.

Review by Ripping Rex (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Broke after a week and a half of use!!!

Wouldve been a nice head if it didnt break after 2 weeks!! It's terrible for cold weather, i played in cold weather and it snapped from catching a pass! Also its terrible for faceoffs

Review by Ripping jays (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I am a face off middie and it is way better than the blade pro, lakota, evo 4, or any other middie head it is not to stiff, but not to flexible. Have used for many faceoffs no warp or break. Will be buting again.

Review by ice cream guy (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Stx stallion

I used it for a good month or so and I probably took 3 face offs with it. I went for a lot of ground balls and did all the other classic middie stuff. I bought the head thinking it was going to be some kind of juggernaut, seeing as I had recently to retire my other baby. Unfortunately, it didn't last. If one were to take care of her, she rips the corners pretty well. Keep calm, lax on.

Review by the Flow (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Pretty good

I'm a middie and a face off guy. I've been mostly using Bendy heads to "complete" my face off game, until I got the head as a gift. The flex point is low enough that jams shouldn't worry you as a face off guy. The head also bends enough to fight out a tough clamp. I can pass and shoot pretty well but the pocket shifts a lot. It may be based on my lack of stringing skills, but I'm a guy who also likes a little whip, and it was hard to string a good pocket that threw consistently well with whip. Also I used this head for a year and it warped so much it looked like a field hockey stick. All in all I really do like this head and will continue to buy it.

Review by Buddy (Posted on 10/25/2016)
great head

I got this head as a gift and i love it. I'm a faceoff middie and its great, its a little flexible which i love and the head has just the right amount of pinch on it.

Review by lax star (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Solid Head

I'm a d-middie and a faceoff guy, and so far i have found no head better for this combo. the stallion gives me a solid strong head that doesn't warp to much after countless faceoffs, while being strong and durable with the poke checks. I got this head midway through my junior year of high school as a replacement; until then i was using clutches. After finding this head its the only one i will buy. Best head i've used

Review by Mac daddy (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Stallion nfhs

This head is great for faceoffs because it does not get warped after many faceoffs like a lot of other heads would. All around this is a great attack/middie head that I might look into buying again.

Review by Benny (Posted on 10/25/2016)
best head from STX

I play midfield and take the faceoffs. This is one of the best heads I've ever used for faceoffs. it's flexibility is great, but over time it doesn't retain its natural shape. I've been playing with it for a year and is it great for the all around middie.

Review by Natty Ice (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great head and durable!

This is a great head for any user no matter what level. Gave it to my son and he was able to throw with it without any issues and it withstood the beatings of a young player. I would recommend this to anyone playing Defense.

Review by VBLAX (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Easy to string

I have been playing middie and LSM with this head for about a year. Its easy to string for whatever stringing preference. After a whole year of use, poke checks has caused the head to noticeably flare. Also as a face off head it is a little too pinched and pinches over time the more faceoffs you take. Overall i love stx heads and this head in particular is more for the offensive player.

Review by Dom Q (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Pretty good

This is a very good head don't get me wrong, it does last a long time and you'll get your moneys worth, my only complaint is that it is a little heavy for an offensive head besides that its almost perfect

Review by Steve (Posted on 10/25/2016)

This head is a dream for middies or shooting attackmen

Review by Juan the laxer (Posted on 10/25/2016)

STX Stallion

Great head overall. Can string almost any type of pocket in it. Not good for faceoffs and I learned that the hard way.

Review by The City Stringer (Posted on 10/25/2016)

Review by Ren (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Snapping bottom rails

I have to say, I've been both impressed, but also totally annoyed with the two stallions I've had. On the positive, they string up really well, and my throwing, catching and ground balls with this we're all fantastic. If I was a wing middy, I would buy these 10x over. Unfortunately, though, both of them have snapped on the bottom rail, near the throat in face offs, lasting 1 game and 4 games respectively. If you're a face off middy, look at the ceo instead, or the Lakota is solid too.
