The Nike Lakota has dominated when it comes to popularity in the lacrosse community. Its flawless shape and design makes it an absolute scoring machine. This head was made to not only score goals but light up the radar gun as well.

Weighing in on average at a respectable 4.8oz the Lakota allows you to shoot at high speeds with pinpoint accuracy. With a tight face and shape you get the best possible ball retention for dodging and a consistent channel release.

It has been considered one of the most ideal heads for midfielders who make a living on dodging, and is quite often used by faceoff specialists as well. The Lakota is a versatile head that enhances its flex technology for more strength and stability without adding weight. This allows the shooter to have extra torque in his shot while also maintaining great handle over the ball.

Overall this head is a thing of beauty and it is one of the leading NFHS lacrosse heads in the game.

Versatile beyond Imagination

The Lakota is more of a defensive midfield head, but for myself it is my choice as a highschool attackman. Im looking forward to all of Nikes advancements in lacrosse.

Review by Canuck (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Amazing head

my favorite head that i've played with, light and durable its extremely easy to string with all of the stringing holes. i even faced off with it for some time and loved it.

Awesome Head

I would recommend this head to anyone it is durable and the pointed scoop makes picking up ground balls easier

Review by Trevor Olson (Posted on 10/25/2016)
The perfect head for a midfielder?!?!?!

This head is perfect for middies! I am an attackman and I use it for attack also. I am not a fogo or a great face-off guy, but this head performs quite well on face offs. It is stiff for those checks and maintains it's shape. It is very durable and will definitely last for a long time. There are many stringing holes which makes that perfect pocket easily achievable. The offset is nice and provides better feel for the ball. The pinch is tight for a middie head and I love it! It provides better hold and more space to catch. The aggressive flare allows better hold from the bottom to middle part of the head. This head preforms in all areas from passes, to shots, to cradling. The overall shape is almost like the stallion and they are basically brothers. STX and Nike have truly outdone themselves on this head. Lacrossemonkey also lowered the price of this head by a good amount. So this head is definitely worth every penny.

Review by That guy (Posted on 10/25/2016)
At this price I'd buy two

I use it for attack, and I love it, I've used a SP, PP, Clutch, Easton Stealth, Surgeon, Evolution 2, and I like this the most, it doesn't warp whcich is AMAZING! I use it to face a good amount also and it doesn't get warped or pinch but, it does get a little bit flex.

Review by charlielax7 (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I greatly recommend this head.

Great head

Great head for the money.

Review by Cole (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Best for attack

This is the greatest head for an attackman i think. the pinch is great but not too much and it is light for such a durable head.

Review by JC (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Good head

It's cool. You would think that since Nike made it, it would suck, but it doesn't. Btw subscribe to my YouTube channel "LSULAX6"

Best Middie Head Ever

I got this head at the beginning of last season and it has been amazing. It has the perfect head shape and is soo easy to string with tons of stringing holes. The head has performed amazing last season and i will be using it for the upcoming season as well. BUY IT!!!

Review by Spence (Posted on 10/25/2016)

Best for any middies or attack men

Review by Tommy (Posted on 10/25/2016)
buy it

I love this head. I have it on my D pole. The scoop is a bit weird at first but after a week it's just an insane head.

Review by lsm boi (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great Head!

This is a great head for anyone who liked the pinch of the original Warrior Evo Pro, but it's a lot tougher. Stiff enough for throwing some hard checks and getting ground balls, yet flexible that I am still able to win faceoffs. The Lakota is a great buy for any midfielder/attackman looking to step up his game.

Review by Jake 'Ironman' (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I. Love. This. Head.

i snapped my lakota flexing it trying to make it more flexible for face-offs (being a FO-GO). My fault completely. If anyone does want to use this for face-offs, I would suggest boiling the head before you string it/have it strung. Amazing head if I wasn't a face-off man i would give this 5/5 but i need something a little more flexible so i feel slightly obligated to take a little off there.

Review by Nick (Posted on 10/25/2016)

i have been using my lakota for a whole season and i just ordered another one so both my sticks can have one, use for box and field, best head ever. highly recommend over any other head.

Review by Matty P (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I would not buy another one!

It is a very good head, but mine broke at the first winter practice we had. I would not get another one, there is no support at the bottom of the head.

Review by shortie (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great head

I'm a middy and this head is amazing. Very pinched at the bottom and it can have a great channel on it if you string it right. Awesome head. Very stiff so don't buy it if you wanna use it for face offs. I love this head so much I'm going to buy another one in the near future just because I want more of them.

Review by Amurf4 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great head

This is a great head, it is lightweight and also sturdy. As a player and midfielder it is great. It is stiff but strings up great.

Review by spitz the mid (Posted on 10/25/2016)

im an attackmen and i have had this head for about four months and it is sick. it is really strong and is pinched at the throught and has alot of stringing holes. it is also really light.

Review by o (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Thought it was good then hated

I really loved this head at first it threw good, was light enough, not the lightest you can get though. But then in practice about 2 weeks after purchase there was a chunk of grass when going for a ground ball and it snapped the side wall of the head. I thought oh well I can use it with only on of the two plastic parts broken but then one week later a shot broke that last part putting me out of a head. If you don't do ground balls (no one) then get it but otherwise I don't think its the best.

Review by Pete (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Nike Lakota

I would recommend this head for attacks. If you play on wet grass or a muddy field it gets really dirty.

Review by Big Nasty (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I have had this head a while and it is still in its prime. I like the stiffness of the head but it has enough flex if you are an attack. it is also great for ground balls.

Review by sniper (Posted on 10/25/2016)
nike lakota

i am an attackman. i just got a volt lakota. i liked it so much i got another one. my first one broke when i checked someone, but other than that it is an amazing head. it is very easy to string because of all the sidewall holes. i currently have 2 lakotas and would buy another one.

Review by sdfghj (Posted on 10/25/2016)

I love this head! It was very easy to string and now I can pass, catch and shoot with it without any trouble. Picking out corners with this head is very easy. I play mostly attack with a little middie and I love this either way. It is a little stiff so it is not a good faceoff head.

Review by J-Will (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great head

I got this head about two weeks ago, I dyed it and string it and it looks great. It has a great feel to it, as in the stiffness is perfect and flex is where it's needed. The one bad thing about this is it has hard and pointed scoop, this makes one hand pick ups and two hand pick ups hard, there is no flex in that area so you have to angle it lower to get a ground ball other than that it is a great head!

Review by Jake (Posted on 10/25/2016)

This head is amazing the only reason I gave it 4 because it is hard to ground balls. Overall, AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review by lax (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great head

This head is great for gb's and has a lot of sidewall holes. I strung it up using the pocket from east coast dyes and I love it. The only thing I don't like about it is that the throat is too flexible and could be stiffer for faceoffs.

Review by Lax star (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Best head ever!

BEAST HEAD EVER! This head is really light weight and great to use anytime. This head is all around great. You need to buy this

Lakotas are awseome!

These heads are sick and they string super easy. The only problem is they are kind of stiff so they crack but Nike has a nice warranty on them for that.

Good head

this head is a good head, but it is very stiff and i don't like stiff... if you have good stringing on this then it is a great head... i recommend a high pocket and/or an iraquois top string. This head is great for attack and defense

Great head! I Use a Volt Nike Lakota with a mid high pocket with East Coast Mesh. I love it and can get some serious shooting power.

Great head

This head is a great midfield head. I bought it because it was highly recommended and it really lived up to its reputation. I play midfield and I take 10 face offs a game and after 10 games it is still working perfectly.

Fantastic Head

This head is great. I had been looking at the CEO, Clutch elite, Evo 4, Rabil and Proton Power heads but I am very glad with this purchase. I have it strung up with 15mm ECM with a mid-pocket and 2 straight shooters and a nylon. It has insane hold and no whip (which I like). For middies, look no further than this head. You will not be disappointed.

Review by WSlax59 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Best head ever

Easily the best head I've ever used,I use it with stringking 1x mesh and it's amazing,I regularly take face offs too and it hasn't warped yet,I would recommend it to any player

Review by Eli (Posted on 10/25/2016)
great choice!

I've played lacrosse for awhile now, and this by far the best head I've played with. I strung a mid-high pocket with ECM Black and it shoots amazingly. Only problem is that it gets scoopies easily, but other than that definitely a must buy!

Review by laxbro (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Lives Up to the NAme

I purchased this going into my sophomore year in High school and my personal say is that this head is excellent for attackmen ( keep in mind I am 6' 220 lbs) . I personally wouldn't recommend it for faceoffs because it is very stiff (considering I have played with it for 5 days a week for 3 months) and it won't quite clamp like other heads (such as a Warrior Helix, Nike Vapor, etc.) I also would't recommend it for defense, even though it is stiff, it is quite small and you can find a better head for ground balls. I have 10d Jimalax mesh in my nike Lakota, 1 straight and and 2 U's and it has the most amount of hold I have ever had in a lax head ( i own a classic Proton Power, Warrior Helix, STX Surgeon, Easton Stealth and the closest one to is is the Stealth) So if you would like a lacrosse head that will last countless seasons through torture and all weather, I suggest this head.

Review by Big Mike (Posted on 10/25/2016)

This is a must buy head

Review by Lax Maniac (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Awesome Head

Is a great head. Has great pinch and a ton of sidewall holes. Looks awesome and works great with a mid high-high pocket. Lots of people say it is too stiff for face offs but I think it is perfect for them. Is a little hard too pick up GBs with but you get used to it after a while. Overall it is a great head.

Review by Moe Lester (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Amazing head, couldn't be happier

This is a great head that works very well. I loved it so much that I bought too. It is very easy to string and was stiff at first, but warp can be worked into it easily. My pocket has held perfectly in both of my heads and the channels both formed perfectly. I am a face-off guy and in my previous season I won 70 percent of my face-offs with this head and I couldn't be happier.

Review by Andre (Posted on 10/25/2016)
its okay.

I got this head at the start of the season and it warped quickly.i am a midfielder and I wouldn't recommend this to midfeilders it is very stiff so it might be good for defense. the pinch on this head is not very good,it opens up to quickly and takes away from the hold on your stick, although it does shoot very nice.

Great Head!!!!!!!

The Nike Lajkota is all around a great offensive head. I play attack and the lakota is a beast for this position. it has plenty of stringing holes and has a great face shape!

Review by Luco Probe (Posted on 10/25/2016)

One of the best heads you can find. I start middie for my JV team as a Sophomore and I dabble in face offs. This head hasn't failed me yet in the two years I've used it. A tad on the heavier and stiff side but that contributes to it's durability so I can't complain. Very smooth channel and I would highly recommend a higher pocket.
