I BOUGHT MY ORIGINAL CLUTCH BRAND NEW 7 YEARS AGO, NO COMPLAINTS. HEAD HAS LASTED WELL. I BOUGHT ONE USED AS WELL THAT SHOWS SOME ABUSE BUT IT'S STILL IN GOOD SHAPEReview by Patrick (Posted on 4/1/2017)
I love this head, it is awesome. The numerous amount of sidewall holes allows for any type of pocket. The head is decently light. The rounded scoop allows for easy ground ball. The offset of the head is great and ground balls are easy, and there isnt a ton of whip with the offset. Great Head overall would reccomend this head to intermediate to advanced players.Review by Jack (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I really like this head. I got a lot of hate because the fad I guess I'll call it was the proton power. I like the clutch a lot more than the Proton power.Review by Bob (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I got this head last year, and it's great. It might have been too pinched at first, but it's light, and throws perfectly.Review by Tank (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I love this head i have had it for 2 years i play middie and attack and i use it at home. so far i have had no problems with it. it is easy to string. it is just a great head.Review by Jordan (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I've had my brine clutch for a long time and I still use it. Great for stringing, and you can get a great pocket with it. Also, very durableReview by henry lax (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I love this head. i think everyone should use itReview by e- cat (Posted on 10/25/2016)
good head has really good pinch and is a good head for your moneyReview by bo$$ (Posted on 10/25/2016)
it is a fantastic head, good for all styles of play and all pocket placements. just overall great headReview by laxer boy 2 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Got this for my friend, and he loves it. He has two now and won't shut up about how much he loves them. He plays midfield and prefers a high pocket which he easily stung up on both of them. It was a very easy stick to string and is a great head all around.Review by J Buck (Posted on 10/25/2016)
it is an excellent overall head but if used excesseively for faceoffs the sidewalls begin to pull together and hourglass which eventually makes the had illegal and gets the ball stuck in between the sidewallsReview by schot (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I play attack and Middie and this head is just perfect. I have picked up 2 of them and they are just great. I love how the throat is really pinched and Flares hard at the top. The only thing not very good about it is that it worps very easily.Review by Cade (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I love this and have never broke oneReview by lax4life11 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Very good head. Well worth the money.Review by The Attacker (Posted on 10/25/2016)
i use it for all around play, face offs, throwing around, games, etc. its a quality head that you can rely on. its flexible and great for any player position and the only bad part is it curses at the bottomReview by dmg18t (Posted on 10/25/2016)
number one head ever madeReview by Adam (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I really liked this head. I had a Brine Clutch 2 which i used and it broke after a month so i went back to the regular clutch and it has worked much better for me.Review by Jac (Posted on 10/25/2016)
This is the best head i have ever owned. I've been playing attack for three years and it just snapped on me after countless beatings from ground balls and slashes.Review by Joe from Michigan (Posted on 10/25/2016)
this is the best head i have ever used. I do alot of stick tricks in lacrosse and one of the things that i really enjoy about this head is its sidewall design. it gives a good amount of space for stalling tricks. The offset combined with the amount of pinch makes for a very solid controll of the ball. The Clutch also has many sidewall holes for all my fellow stringers out there. BUY THIS HEAD!!!Review by Tomlax (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Ever since the Clutch came out like 6 years ago, I havent used anything but it. It's an incredible offensive head; very accurate and very consistent. The head shape gives you lts of ball retention and the scoop is fantastic. I'm on my 8th Clutch now and I'll probably keep using them till the end of my career.Review by Average Bro (Posted on 10/25/2016)
This head is just amazing, only problem I've ever had with it is that after taking numerous faceoffs it warped on me.Review by Jack the Ripper (Posted on 10/25/2016)
at the time this head came out, it was honestly the best head you could buy. now, with features like core tech, dual shot molding,c-channel, etc it has fallen behind. it is still a great middie and attackmen head. it is a very easy head to string because of the amount of sidewall holes. mine lasted me about 4 months of lax until it started to warp. in about 8 months, it snapped at the throat. My friends literally snapped the first game he bought his as well. I am not saying it is a bad head, but there is better options out on the market.Review by pipe crusher (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Ive had this head for almost 2 years and it is a good head for use except it warps quickly and breaks very easily at the throat, especially at the stringing holes in the bottom.Review by adam (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I've had this had for a few games. I decided to upgrade from my beginner head (STX AV8, good for beginners and lasts forever) to the Brine Clutch. It was so easy to string. I've strung a few heads and this was definetley the funnest and easiest to string. I strung a nylon top shooting string and a regular under it, both straight shooters. Passing is insanely accurate, but I'm not used to the pinch. It's a little harder to catch but I'm already coming accustomed to it. Also ground balls are fantastic. The head is amazing for someone who wants to move up from a beginner to more intermediate.Review by EMYLaxer (Posted on 10/25/2016)
