Heavy

Its heavy and big so unless your really strong like benching at least 200 your not going to want to use this. If you are big it is a good head but thats the problem! Its also really wide which makes it hard to get a pocket...

I give it a C overall

This head is great if your looking for a backup, but i would not recommend this head to use during a game. Had it for about 3 weeks and i could make the top touch the ball stop. It is awkward to cradle with also. In my personal opinion i would go with a nemesis lyte, iv had this, and the eclipse. Neither compare to the nemesis.

Maverik Base

I'm a highschool lacrosse goalie and have used this head over my summer tournaments. This head is great. It's alot like the eclipse but has a larger stopping area. It throws well and has many different holes for different types of pockets. My Base is on a Gait 803 and together is incredibly light. I barely feel it in my hands. It seems pretty durable. It is definitly a head you should check out if you are looking for a new one.

Great!

I think this is easily one of the best heads out there. It's not as flexible as people say. I have had one since it came out and it's still just as stiff as when i received it in the mail (I live in a very hot area). I used it in spring and summer so it had all the time in the heat to become flexible, but it didn't. It's not as heavy as people say. If weight makes such a huge difference then you need to hit the gym. Easy to get a good pocket with 20 diamond mesh, but extremely difficult with any other type of mesh. All in all excellent head.

Great Head Overall

I use the base in everything! It comes in cool colors! Sturdy! Light light light! And throws like a charm! If you are getting it without stringing, get it done professionally. Ask for a channel. Or you can do it yourself, but it'll need to be fine tuned! It's an amazing head for beginners through pros! It isn't dyed, but the color is through and through. Get this head!

not good

good stick for a beginning. once you hit a certain level the shots come faster and any shot to the middle high or top of head will most likely be a goal. For younger kids is good, shots not coming as fast, probably great for the girls game with the large surface area. For the price of the head and flimsyness of the head... not worth it at all.

Everything terrible in one head

This head is terrible. It is cruddy to string, big, clunky, and flexes like crazy. The face shape is terrible. I don't know how they missed so bad on this. I used mine in 2 games and gave it to a friend so they can play in the back yard with their 5year old kid. This head is so flexible that it is like trying to play with a wet noodle. Because of the giant round face shape it is hard to string a good performing pocket and even then it's still clunky. This is only good for u9 or less. I would never allow one of my goalies to use one and I will never use one for anything other than playing around with young children

Terrable head

I'm a 8th grade goalie and this head is terrible heavy flexible hard to string and hard to scoop.I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but maby a 4th or 5th grade player.
