DECENT HEAD

I HAD 2 OF THESE, BOTH WERE WONDERFUL. ONE OF THEM BROKE ON THE SCOOP AFTER TAKING A DIRECT HIT IN COLD WEATHER. THE OTHER ONE IS SHOWING SOME WEAR, BUT IS STILL HOLDING UP WELL. CAN'T EXPECT THE HEAD TO LAST FOREVER AS ITS PURPOSE IS TO STOP HARD SHOTS.

Great head

This head is amazing easy to string hard durable lightweight and performance with it is great. Easy to throw with and relatively good for clamping.

Awesome

Eclipse one the best and easiest stringing heads on the market. Gives a awesome Channel pocket, these new performance mesh are awesome. Where were they when I played this awesome sport of lacrosse.

BEST GOALIE HEAD

I love the eclipse. I first started with the Warrior Nemesis, didn't like it, and I've stuck with the eclipse ever since. The only issue is after a lot of use, the head becomes very bendable. Other than that, great head, love the colors. (some sites sell it in pink)

Best. Head. Ever.

this head is great for everything!!!! the only problem i had with this head is that me and my friends thought it was just a little top heavy. besides that though, this head is literally the best head i have ever had.

not bad

its a good goalie head dont get me wrong but its definetly heavy even for a goalie head. Great for practice then use a lighter head for games

Review by Brian (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Nice Head

This is definitely the best head on the market, i used it all through highschool and am now using it at Westfield State University in the NECLL. It is light, durable, and the colors are great, i've been using my black one for over three years now and besides from some scoop scratches, its still perfect.

Review by HectorTheRejector (Posted on 10/25/2016)

Great Goalie Head

This is a great head. Ive been using it for about a year now and it hasnt broken yet. Ive saved so many unanticipated goals with this. The only bad part is that its kind of heavy, but I would definetely buy it again.

Review by Brick Wall (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Only goalie head I'll use!

My first goalie sick was a white STX eclipse. It was handed down from the previous goalie. When that stick broke I knew I needed a new one. The colors are great. I have the back one completely strung in neon pink and it looks amazing! I will continue to get STX eclipses until I stop playing lacrosse. Great head overall.

STX Eclipse: For Goalies Everywhere

This head is everything a goalie looks for. I am a goalie in both Box and Field, and this is the only stick I am confident with in both aspects. I have never had a problem with this. A while ago, I had bought a Guardian that broke on the second game, but this stick stayed strong after a few months of games and many, many practices. It has never once faltered, and the size:weight ratio is near perfect! I put it on a Krypto Pro Goalie shaft and I am positive it is the lightest stick on the market right now. If you're a beginner looking for a next-level stick, an intermediate wanting to make more saves, or a pro looking for bigger save area, Get this!

Strong, Light and Easy to String

I've been using this for 3 years now and love it, wouldn't switch for anything. Perfect flexibility for ground shots and great for ground balls, clamping.

STX Eclipse Review

This was my first choice for a goalie head about two years ago. This head has lasted me, and still is lasting me till this day. It is somewhat heavy which is okay, because I feel a head that's too light might bend too easily. This head is flexible when scooping, but it's still stiff enough to get those lower shots. My only real problem with this head is that it has warped throughout the time I've used it. I still like this head a lot and it's still usable and legal, even with the warped sides. It has a good amount of stringing holes as well, so you can definitely have a variety of what you want it strung like. My personal head has leathers, three sets of nylons, mesh and shooting strings, so you can do some crazy stuff to this head. I highly recommend it.

NEVER BUY ANY OTHER HEAD THAN THIS ONE

I use this on a regular bases. I have had it of about 2 years now and i have had no problems with it. It is extreemly flexible and it WILL NOT snap. I have blocked shots off of both sides, top, and bottom. I have used this probably 3-5 times a week and it is still in spectacular condition. I will never buy any other head than the STX Eclipse. I recommend this product to anyone that wants to be a good lax goalie.

STX Eclipse

Lightest head I have ever used

Review by Flynner (Posted on 10/25/2016)
best goalie head ever

I have 3 eclipse heads all strung because I go on attack a lot. It is not to heave it handls like a dream and all in all it is amazing. Also I have scored 10 goals with this head and you can launch it hard. get more than one head because if you are getting shot on with very fast balls the knots on the bottom of the stick will go throug the holes so you have a hole in the stick

Review by the tank (Posted on 10/25/2016)
STX Eclipse

Great Stick for any goalie at any level. Easy to string a good pocket and tough.

Review by Sam the brick wall (Posted on 10/25/2016)
good head

this head lasted 4 seasons with no problem

Review by bob saget (Posted on 10/25/2016)
There's a reason this is the 2nd best

this is my first head and it works great. I was given this right before my first practice and there is only one head i woud've prefered above this one. This has great stopping room without getting in the way, is very lightweight and is very easy to pass with.I was taught to gripthe throat of the stick when i learned and the only negative thing i can say about this is that the throat is to wide for me to get my hand on, however it is very long lasting. I got mine used and who knows how much it had been trough before i got it, but i am not exactly easy on my sticks and it has held up to everything i've done to it. i would recomend this to everyone from a beginner to a pro.

All Around Great Head

When I first purchased the STX Eclipse, I was sort of hesitant because I had a Warrior Nemesis before which I loved. The Eclipse was just as light as the Nemesis, however it had a better face shape and a greater save area. My only complaint about the Eclipse is that after about a season of playing for the high school, it becomes very flexible at the top and this flex interferes with the head's ability to scoop the ball, especially in wet weather. Other than that the STX Eclipse is the best goalie head out there!

Review by Your Average Tendy (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great head

This head is definitely the one to get you want a great head for a cheaper price. I have been using the Eclipse for my entire career which sums up to be 7 years as a lacrosse goaltender. Not once has this head warped or broken from the abuse that I put it through as a goaltender.

Eclipse

I have 3 Eclipse Goalie heads that I rotate between practice, games, and summer teams with. This is my favorite goalie head I have every used! it's light weight and durable. I am very rough with my sticks but this is the only head I have had that has preformed the same and has not broken!

Review by Logan (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great Head

Got this for my first year as high school goalie and its great. Season just finished and its still holding strong. Its nice and easy to string and the release from clears is smooth. It does a good job when raking the ball in the crease and has some flex to it. This head has worked out great for the season and I'm about to order another one for a back up stick. The only complaint I have is that the screw kept falling out of it and I eventually just bolted it on to the stick. i would definitely recommend this to any beginner goalie or pro looking for a new head.

Review by Big Joe (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Stx Eclipse

Over my lacrosse career as a goalie I have only used one head, and that is the Eclipse. For the first month or two the head is stiff, as it should be. But soon after the first month or too, the head starts to wear down and flex and warp.

Review by Sugar (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great head!

Great head, foam on bottom wears quickly because of the flex.

Review by the real small goalie (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great Head

Good head all around. I've used it for two years and I've been on 5 or 6 teams with it. The STX Eclipse is the best goalie head u can get out there. It was designed very well, it's easy to string, lightweight but still stiff, and you can use it for a while and it won't wear. The only thing that's bad is that they don't have a solid black color but that doesn't really matter

Review by d.c laxer (Posted on 10/25/2016)
great stick

this is a great stick very easy to string and have had mine for a couple of years and still worlds great. I love in Utah so i have played with it in some cold games but hasn't cracked or broke yet so it is a pretty strong head
