The Carbon shaft from East Coast Dyes is designed to perform at the highest level. The Carbon is made with advanced composite materials and manufacturing process, which ensures the highest quality and performance. The advanced carbon fiber construction allows the shaft to have a high strength to weight ratio. This shaft is very durable and weighs only 176 grams, making it one of the lightest shafts available.
On our 10 point flex scale, the Carbon is a Flex5, which makes it an easy transition from a standard alloy shaft. The Carbon also features a textured grip and has a classic octagonal shape with slightly concave sides for the perfect feel in your hands. Its textured grip has a slight sandpaper feel for increased grip, feel, and all weather performance. This means less tape on the shaft!

Great Weight. I'm a goalie playing in varsity lacrosse and bought two to have identical sticks. My starter broke from a slash from a metal shaft. It may have already been cracked. I have yet to talk to ECD about warranty but will revise review once that process is complete.Review by Ty (Posted on 5/4/2017)
This shaft is amazing so lite!!! I'm really looking forward to using it this season I'm using it with a tactik so it's really liteReview by Burrards lax (Posted on 4/9/2017)
We have bought 4 of these shafts over two seasons. We have two boys and they swear by these shafts. They will chip because they are played hard. Yes the head can be loose, but a couple wraps of black tape will take care of that. We will continue to use these shafts. 13/14UReview by LAX Dad (Posted on 3/16/2017)
I got two of these for Christmas and used them for about six months and then the paint started to chip. Its very lite maybe lighter then my head. worth the priceReview by littlepancake04 (Posted on 12/17/2016)
I just got this shaft and I feel a huge difference in my play. I can shot fast and pass more accurately.Review by DLo the ripper (Posted on 10/25/2016)
The Carbon is a shockingly light shaft. The flex isn't super obvious, but I do feel an increase in shot speed using it. The decals on the shaft are a little lame, and those wear quickly. Other than that part, this shaft is light, strong, has a good shape, and is definitely worth the price.Review by Colt from the MCLA (Posted on 10/25/2016)
This shaft is super lite weight is very strong. This shaft is so lite that its lighter than my head. It flexes alittle too which gives your shot some more speed. The only complaint i have is the paint chips. Overall this shaft is a must buyReview by Coldlax (Posted on 10/25/2016)
great priceing compared to aother composit shafts no tape neededReview by Ren (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I've owned this shaft for about a year now. It is by far one of the toughest and lightest shafts I have ever felt. Probably one of the best ever made.Review by B (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I bought this for my son's birthday. The screw hole gaped and crumbled. I emailed East Coast Dyes numerous times for suggestions, and they never responded. The end cap is totally loose. Basically, buying this shaft means you'll be playing with a stick held together with tape, with a head and end cap that constantly wobbles. I would rate this zero stars if that were an option. Buy a different shaft.Review by DJG (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Great product from ECD! Extreme lightweight and can take a beating. Using one in U15 tournaments and it holds up great. My only con is that the top coating chips very easily. Overall a great product!Review by Pizza Strings (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I had this shaft for one season and shaft started to chip, but overall it's a great shaftReview by Tate (Posted on 10/25/2016)
The carbon was one of the best choices in shafts i have made yet when i got it i noticed it has amazing sandpaper feel once i used it for a while it started to wear but after 6 months its not too bad. the carbon is a super light shaft which helps give it a better feel. the only con is when it gets hit hard the paint chips but that doesn't matter because its just paint. overall this was a great purchase and i cant wait for the carbon pro to come outReview by Rybak (Posted on 10/25/2016)
