I use this shaft everyday because of its light, yet trustworthy build. By that I mean it doesn't feel like it is going to break or dent easily when I play. I really like the Grip because it does not leave those black marks on your gloves like tape does. The coating does last a decent amount of time, however the grip wears after a while depending on how frequently you use it or what climate you play in. I coupled mine with a Brine Houdini because together they equal a suprisingly light D-Pole.Review by Friendly Neighborhood Lax dude (Posted on 10/25/2016)
it is a very good shaft and also very durable but theres too much grip on it for my taste. at the beginning when i first got this head there was sooo much grip my hands would get stuck on the shaft and they sometimes still do. there is also no way to get the grip off like i did on my other brine shaft.Review by schot (Posted on 10/25/2016)
grip comes off on almost every checkReview by alvin (Posted on 10/25/2016)
i used it for the first time in practice and the grip comes off really easy basically by putting gloves on and sliding your hands up and down the grip comes off. other than the grip it is an amzing shaft!!Review by j the defender (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I recieved this product from a warranty off of the original swizzle scandium. needless to say i hated every second with this shaft. I play highschool lacrosse and first practice i used this shaft it bent to a 30 degree angle. After the warranty irecieved another and again first practice of summer lacrosse the shaft bent to the point of almost breaking after only the third check i threw. very unreliable and is an overpriced shaft that is destined to bend sooner rather than later.Review by Tom the dissappointed (Posted on 10/25/2016)
When I used this shaft the grip started peeling off and got all over your hands.Review by Quinn (Posted on 10/25/2016)
the shaft is very good but it bent after one season and since the grip peels and i got it in white it made it look brown. I would definately recommend not getting this shaft in WHITE. But overall it was pretty good.Review by Ian the laxer (Posted on 10/25/2016)
It's a great shaft but it peels way to quick the first day I got it, it started peel after a hour playing with it. Everything else is awesome. May favorite part is how light it is. It is a little pricey but every thing else is awesome.Review by Coxy, Defender (Posted on 10/25/2016)
Ive had this for two seasons without any dents or anything. It's also pretty lightweight so it's great for LSM. It does have loads of grip on it but I love that because it looks really cool.Review by Jackson (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I really like this shaft. It feels nice when you throw with it. It is great for defense or long pole middie. It works well in any type of weather.Review by Alex (Posted on 10/25/2016)
You can always have great grip on it. It looks good on th field. You can play with it in any weather.Review by lacrosseboy55 (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I bought this shaft within the first week of the release back in 2012. Now that I switched to a newer shaft from another company I realized what I was missing out on. The swizzle's grip feature was innovative and cool but is just impractical because it peels so much and carries almost 1/3 of the grip regular tape does. But for the price currently it is a really good deal. And I know in the comments for pros it says pretty light but that was an accident and it wont let me delete it.Review by Red Hot (Posted on 10/25/2016)
I play LSM at the high school level and I am a VERY physical player. I bought this shaft thinking it would be a good combination of lightweight and durability with a good grip. I was playing with it in a JV game not even three months, and I cross-checked a kid and the shaft bent severely making it so it is near impossible to catch and pick up gbs with it.Review by Bit Hits (Posted on 10/25/2016)
When I bought this shaft, I was not expecting much for the price. But when it arrived, I was surprised by it's weight (or lack there of).Review by AJTAP (Posted on 10/25/2016)
This 'innovative' grip it comes with is useless and peels straight out of the box, so i recommend spending about 20 minutes with a soft sponge to wipe it off as tape simply offers better options.
Otherwise, the shaft looks really good on the field and would be great for junior level D-poles as the handle won't be placed under much pressure.
